1st day of Work
Yesterday,me & hui yu meet jaymie to go for interview.We meet at clementi 1st and take bus to go bukit timah there.When we reach,jayime start to work le while the both of us sit there and wait for the manager to come and interview us.After he interview us,he ask us to start work cos he wan to make sure tat we can cope with it.Then we start working.
Its quite ok working there.We just have to get the customers to sit down,give them the menu and tell them to take order at the counter.We also have to serve their food & drinks,clear the table and wash the cups and plates.It is tue but there are a lot of customers,we work until very tired and seem like there are so many things not done.Hui yu like to stay inside washing the dishes.
I was outside clearing the table.Then on my way back to the kitchen,there was a loud crash of the plates.In the drink place,hui yu was cutting friuts and jaymie is making drinks.The plates from the rack just fall and smash into pieces.The both of them did nothing but the plates just fall by itself.When this happen,everyone look towards the direction where the sound was created.
After tat incident,jaymie told us tat she intro job to us and we like cause her nearly lose her job also.The day went back to normal after tat,we continue doing our work.At around 10,we have our dinner.While we having our dinner,a grp of ppl came.We have to finish our food and clear th table.The grp of ppl took quite a long time to decide their order.Jaymie and the other guy(zhi bing) make their drinks while the manager help the kitchen to cook the food.They like keep on changing the order and jaymie also keep on making the wrong drinks.She even wan to blend the metal spoon while doing the smoothie.
After the grp of ppl go,we start to clear all the things.Zhi bing went to keep the tables and chairs at the outside,jaymine do the washing while me & hui yu help to arrange the cups,utensil and fill up the fridge with can drinks.We busy until 11.30pm.Through out the whole day jaymie kep on saying the both of us bring her bad luck.
